The strategies I applied during the data gathering exercise for Vconnect Global Services Limited

In one of my previous posts I wrote on How I made money as a Data Gathering Officer (DGO) for Vconnect. In that post I promised that I will write a post on the strategies I applied during the data gathering exercise for Vconnect. I also promised I will write on the challenges I encountered during the exercise. Today I am fulfilling one of the promises. Just like King Solomon said in his book of wisdom, "wisdom is profitable to direct." I applied a certain wisdom during the data gathering exercise in order to make myself the thousands of Naira I made. After making my analysis on what Vconnect wanted from me, I came to a conclusion that the only thing they needed was active (existing) business data of people withing Nigeria, hence the reason for confirmation of all the data I upload before they pay me. Looking at it that what they really needed was genuine existing business data, a thought came to my mind on how to gather huge amount of data for them so I could make thousands of Naira. I came up with a strategic idea. I designed and printed data gathering forms with Vconnect logo and information on them. I employed others to do the work of gathering for me, while I sat down to upload them. I edited and printed my introduction letter from Vconnect and fixed their names on them. They went round with the forms to gather data using the introduction letters as if they were employed by Vconnect. In order to avoid fraud and wahala, I printed a very bold caveat on the data form; indicating that the data gathering exercise is free of charge and no bearer of the form is legally authorized to collect money or any other thing as appreciation or payment for the data he/she gathers. I paid them Twenty Naira for each form they filled. That means they took Twenty Naira while I remained with Thirty Naira. With the remaining thirty Naira I was able to cover the cost of some of unverified numbers Vconnect did not approve. At least I made Twenty Naira or more from each person's data. I paid them every weekend also, just as soon as Vconnect credited my account. Is that not a wisdom?
I guess it is!
