The faulty Blackberry phone I bought on amazon

Like I said in one of my previous posts on how to buy things on amazon, there are fraudster on amazon, so be very careful in making transaction with sellers. In every group of disciples is always Judas. There was a time I bought eitheen fairly used Blackberry phones on Amazon and I discovered that one of them - BB 8900 (Curve Javeline) was faulty. The phone doesn't make calls nor receives calls. Each time I want to make call with it, it indicates 'only emergency calls are allowed.' When someone tries to call me, the person will see 'user busy'. In fact, it nearly cost me my fiancee as she was calling me on a faithful night and she kept seeing 'user busy'. She thought another lady has snatched me from her. Lol! At last I was the one that used the phone for browsing and text messages as those are the only things it could offer. But what I am trying to say here is this; I made every necessary enquiry before buying the phone and the seller told me with confidence that the phone had no defect. Only for me to get the phone and discovered it had a defect. What a bad encounter! You can see how bad some of these white men can be. After I discovered that the phone was faulty, I filed a claim agaist the seller on amazon and I was instructed to return the phone so I could be refunded, but there was a dilema. If I was to return the phone, I am responsible for the shipping cost from here to MY US (my shipping agent) in Florida, USA. This is because in the shipping policy of Amazon, they don't ship mobile phones to Nigeria. They can only ship within US. After making the analysis, I decided to just bear it because if I was to return it, the shipping cost may be higher than the cost of the Blackberry phone itself. So, you will agree with me that buying things on amazon is not risk-free as some people think. It also has its wahala.
