How I pay customs clearance fee for my goods from amazon

If you are buying anything on amazon, one of the budgets you ought to make is your customs clearance fee. At times I pay up to seventeen thousand naira for a single shipment. The amount you pay to customs is determined by the amount of items you bought. The higher the amount of your items, the higher your custom fee. When I ship my things, I choose either DHL or FEDEX express. They appear to be more reliable and trustworthy to me; especially DHL. When my consignments arrive Lagos, they will notify me of the customs clearance fee; that is if customs with holds the items, because there are times when they don't hold my consignment. At times I get information through tracking even before I am notified by DHL or FEDEX. If my consignments are with customs, the tracking system informs me. When they hold my consignment, I pay the clearance fee into DHL or FEDEX account and DHL or FEDEX will settle custom on my behalf. Subscribe for my next post on how to file a complaint on amazon.

Difference between motion exparte and motion on notice

Both are interlocutory injunctions sought by way of applications (prayer) before the court; but they serve different purposes. Motion exparte which is interpreted as 'on one party' is an application before the court in time of urgency; to restrain from doing an act which may cause an irreparable injury to the applicant. The order subsists pending the final determination of the suit. Eg. If the subject matter of the suit is a an economic tree, and the defendant intends to cut the tree because he claims it belongs to him, the plaintiff can apply for a motion exparte for court to stop the Defendant from cutting the tree until the suit is determined.
