HOW AMAZON VERIFIED MY BANK ACCOUNT

I just have to confess, it wasn’t easy at all. At a point I was like giving up. I wanted to abandon the whole processes because the demands were too much on me.
Firstly they asked me to send them a fax detailing my account information, including the phone number of my bank itself.
I told them I had no access to fax but they said, that is the only method through which they accept such information. I pleaded for a privilege to send it via email, but my pleading was an effort in futility. I contacted my bank – GT Bank Customer care department, they said I should forward the request to cardservices@gtbank.com. I did that and asked them to send the information on my behalf. I forwarded all the necessary information to card services; after they sent the e-mail, Amazon said, that was not all. Another e-mail in my account, I forwarded it to card services, after sending the e-mail again, they said, it wasn’t over. In fact I sent not less that ten e-mails before my account was approved. And guess what, it was when I was like frustrated that I personally sent them an e-mail asking for what they really wanted from me. I told them I was almost frustrated, and moreover, was it not the same account they debited when I bought the first item on Amazon – memory card for Sony Cyber shot? I told them I was tired of their wahala. Believe me, that  was the end of it all. The last t e-mail I received was that my account has been verified and approved for transactions.
In fact it wasn’t an easy task. But thank God today; I am making my money on Amazon.
