Hello and welcome to this online tutorial series prepared by Success Minds Business Solutions. My name is Attamah C. Malachy. I am a passionate blogger, an e-commerce consultant, a web developer and an information marketer. I also double as the Projects Coordinator and a Computer Tutor at Success Minds Business Solutions.
As I promised last night, I am starting a tutorial series on ‘blogging and its benefits to you and your business.’ Please before we go further, I want you to understand that ‘your business’ here means whatever you are doing to touch the lives of others.
Blog as the name connotes is a one of the social networking media, where you can share your ideas, opinions, thoughts, etc. with others, especially your friends and loved ones. It is a website being hosted and maintained by the Google giant, and you as an individual have the privilege to create and design your own blog free of charge. I mean free of charge, without paying a dime.
  All you need is computer, internet connection and the skills for web design, and even if you are not adequately skilled in web design, you can still create your blog and use it the way you see it or you hire an expert to design it for you. As
I said earlier, Blog is a website that is hosted and maintained by the Google giant, please be informed that you have a limited control as per some of the features of a standard website. For instance, you will have a sub domain name instead of a custom domain name. Sub domain name is something like http://yourbusinessname.blogspot.com, while a custom domain name is www.yourbusinessname.com. The sub domain name signifies that you are dependent on another; you are not on your own. This is just one of the limited controls you may have unlike the standard website where the sky is your starting step when it comes to features you can apply on your website. But as a newbie, it is advisable you start with a Blog, even for the fact that it is free. As you keep on advancing you can also advance your blog by changing the sub domain name to a custom domain name and also change all the features if you want.

Difference between motion exparte and motion on notice

Both are interlocutory injunctions sought by way of applications (prayer) before the court; but they serve different purposes. Motion exparte which is interpreted as 'on one party' is an application before the court in time of urgency; to restrain from doing an act which may cause an irreparable injury to the applicant. The order subsists pending the final determination of the suit. Eg. If the subject matter of the suit is a an economic tree, and the defendant intends to cut the tree because he claims it belongs to him, the plaintiff can apply for a motion exparte for court to stop the Defendant from cutting the tree until the suit is determined. It is an exception to the rule of fair hearing enshrined in the constitution. So, the Defendant need not be served provided the Plaintiff can convince the court that waiting for the Defendant to be served will occasion an irreparable injury on him as the Defendant may cut the tree before service is effected on him.
